Let sleeping babies lie

Ally fell asleep in her high chair.

And in the middle of the family room floor.

She can sleep anywhere!

No doubt about it he's all boy!

Spencer made up a new game last weekend that definitely proves he's all boy.  He will teach it to you.  First you climb to the top of the stairs.
Then you pick up your smaller toys and one at a time...
you chuck them down the stairs.  It's so interesting.  Some go really far, some not so far.  Cause and effect??? Is he learning about weight and gravity???
Spencer's POV.  How fun!!!
Now Spencer will tell you that the best time to play this game is when mommy is in the shower.  Daddy took these pictures with the gate open for effect, but Spencer usually plays it with the gate closed.  It adds a degree of difficulty.

Spencer's favorite thing.

What are the bears doing mommy?

Read it better.

Sitting and Playing

She gets frustrated but loves to be on her tummy.

Sitting and playing with her top. She was so smiley.

Cute photos

Here are more Pic's of Spencer and his friend Grace at a play date at our house.

Mommy's rant

Spencer needed his second hair cut. His curls were getting fuzzy and hard to manage. So I mentioned it to some mommies in the playgroup and they suggested I go to Great Clips by our house. They said they take their kids there and it is cheaper than the kiddie hair place in town. Their kids have nice hair so this morning I packed Spencer and Ally in the stroller and walked to the Great Clips.
Spencer threw a fit, but beyond that, it was an awful experience. The woman was about as warm as a dead fish, her hands smelled like tobacco, and she talked to Spencer like he was a 10 year old not a 18 month old. "Honey I am not hurting you, sit still. I'm losing my line. I can't cut if you keep moving." Now I am sure it is very difficult to cut a wiggling toddlers hair, but his first hair cut was wonderful and he played and babbled and looked around the whole time.
I almost told her to stop cutting twice. By the time we left Ally was crying, Spencer was exhausted from his fit, and I was crying too. Here's the kicker. When I went to pay the cold fish lady said it was $12! The nice kiddie place in town is $18. So I only saved $6! Next time I will definitely go to the kiddie hair place and tell everyone I can to avoid the tobacco handed, cold fish lady.
Here is the result...

So it's not great but not the most awful hair cut ever, that goes to Mitch still.
So after all the drama mommy walked to starbucks and spent $3.50 on a latte. Grand total savings...$2.50.

The difference between girls and boys

So Spencer had a friend over Sat. morning and they shared snack time with some yummy muffins from Grace's mommy.
Grace had barely a crumb on the table.

Spencer was quite the opposite.

Later that day....
Maybe it isn't a boy thing. Maybe it's just our kids.

Thank You

Ally and Mommy and Daddy wanted to send a big thank you to Aunt Heather for making Ally this beautiful sweater. It should fit her soon and all through the winter.
She wanted to model it now for you.

A big thank you also to Aunt Heather, Uncle Sean, and Nana for the clothes for Spencer and Ally. They are sooooo cute!
