American Graffiti Celebration

This weekend our little town of Petaluma had a big celebration. "American Graffiti" was filmed here 35 years ago and they throw a party every year for it. The main street was closed down and vintage 50's and 60's cars cruised the boulevard once again. Some of the stars were even there signing autographs. We had a blast going to it. What a great way to see our new town too. Petaluma is really going on us.

First Bath for Ally

Mommy and Daddy gave Ally her first bath.

She didn't like being undressed.

But she settled down and was happy when it was all done. She smelled good too!

Here's the whole family together! Spencer was a bit fidgety so this is the best we can do for now. Nana was blocking his view of Sesame Street on the tv, so Spencer was happy when it was over.

BROTHER AND SISTER

Spencer got to meet his little sister for the first time yesterday. We think he liked her.

SPENCER HAS A LITTLE SISTER!

Yesterday morning Julie had a doctor's appointment and as she was strapped to the monitor, she started having contractions. Nothing too big, or frequent, so they sent her home. Well, the contractions increased and we decided to have to the hospital to have them checked out. Long story short, they decided to go ahead with the c-section. A hour or two later, we were greeted with this little face...

ALEXANDRA LILLIAN MANN
6 pounds 13 ounces

Mom and baby are doing great. Julie didn't get the post c-section shakes and nausea this time and is recovering well. Little Alexandra had a little low blood sugar, but a little formula jumped her back up to a good amount. Little 'grunty' with the breathing now and then, but no worries. Oxygen levels were all normal. Just trying to clear out all the fluid on her little lungs.

Spencer spent the evening with his friend Grace (see post below) and our new friends Ira and Christy Owens. They saved us and we owe them a huge debt for helping us when we needed it. They're the best!

Spencer gives a tour

Spencer wanted to give you a tour of our apartment before we move into our new house. If you listen carefully he is describing the rooms as he goes and all the fun he has in each and everyone of them. We don't move till the end of the month...he just wanted to do it before things got to busy!
